[ Superstition Mesh - SSID & Node Name Info. ]

We have put together an easy to follow standard and is very simple to change over to.

The SSID is: AREDN
On 2.4 GHz itís Channel -2 (2397) @ 10 GHz wide.
On 5.4 GHz itís Channel 149 (5745) @ 20 MHz wide.

Below is the Node Name list with examples:

  1. Call Sign
  2. Type of equipment
  3. M3 or M5 if not operating on 2.4 GHz
  4. Direction antenna is pointed.
Omni antennas are O and no direction is specified.

Some examples:

W7XYZ-AG-WNW (Airgrid on 2.4 GHz pointed west north west.)
W7XYZ-B-O (Bullet on 2.4 GHz with an omni antenna)
W7XYZ-B-SECT-E (Bullet on 2.4 GHz with a sector antenna pointed east.)
W7XYZ-AGM5-ESE (Airgrid on 5.4 GHz pointed east south east.)
W7XYZ-LOCO-W (Nano Station Loco on 2.4 GHz pointed west.)
